Baby Girl Name...?

Question

Thinking of naming our girl Ethel Kate, a double first name. Ethel would be after my grandmother who meant the world to me. However, the majority of my fiends and family hate it and tell me "don't do that to that poor baby." What are your thoughts?

Its your baby not your friends or anyone elses so if you like the name go for it why go upon their opinions. I love the older names ive concidered calling my baby if its a girl ivy alice after my nana and if its a boy bernard dennis after both our grandads.

Go for it! It's your baby. :) 
My girl will have my grandmother's name as her middle name.... but both sides of the family want me to put it as her first name and make her first name we have picked out for her, the middle name (cuz they don't like it...) 
But... too bad. My daughter and her name is perfect to my husband and I and that's all that matters. :)
