Vbac or repeat section

Any mom's out there offered a vbac? I had to have an emergency c section with my daughter and my midwife offers vbac but the hospital doesn't have a surgeon or antithesis on call. I'm 21 weeks so I have time.. At first I was dead set on a vbac now I'm having really intense nightmares that something goes wrong and there isn't anyone around to help me and panic attacks about it. I've done so much research but I don't know anyone who has had a vbac personally, so it all just articles and YouTube videos. Any insight or advice would be so appreciated!
