2 weeks I posted about my doctor wanting me to miscarry naturally and my worries about that since it had already been 2 weeks. With the helpful advice of this group,I decided to insist on a D&C. I expressed this to my dr's office and they decided that I should have an ultrasound and we would come up with a game plan before the holiday weekend. I was never called. I called on Friday and was told the dr would not be looking at my ultrasound results until next week now. I cried all day on Friday bc I was so upset. I had been waiting to miscarry for a month at this point and was ready for closure. On Saturday, I started to miscarry naturally. It was awful. I started bleeding and clotting to the level that level that my dr office had told me I me need to go to the ER if that happened. By the time I got to the ER, I was soaking through pads and pants every 20mins. It was so painful. I spent the night in the ER and they monitored me. In the morning the bleeding had stopped but my examine and ultrasound indicated I still had a lot of clots left. So, they gave me oxytocin to try and induce me and have the clots come out. That made me bleed a little more but not much else. Finally at 1am on Sunday, I had a D&C. It was an awful weekend. I am relieved it over but I will be defiantly be getting a new doctor.
