I hate my DH's baby name pick.
My husband and I will have been married for a year in September. It's been "open season", as he says, ever since. We hope to conceive soon and have been talking about baby names. I have a 5yo from a previous relationship - Roman Cruz ❤.
Rome's bio-dad left pretty early on in the pregnancy so I got to choose the name. My hubby doesn't have any other kids so I feel like it's only fair that he gets to choose our future baby's name.
Problem is... I hate the names! If we have a boy he's dead set to name him Auron James (Auron sounds like "orange" cut short). If it's a girl he wants her to have the middle name Dolores after his stepmother. Who, by the way, hates her own name so she goes by Dee!
I'm not sure if I should just suck it up and let him pick out the name since it'll be his first biological baby/experience.
What do you think? Should I not feel selfish for rejecting his names?
Did any of you let your SO pick the name and ended up hating it or eventually liking it?
