Ttc for a year, now what?

Hello all! 
​If we don't conceive this month it'll be a year of ttc. I'm not too confidant it'll happen. :/ what is my next step? I had my annual in feb so my ob is already aware that we've been trying for this long? Do I just call his office and say "we need to be checked out"? How do you word that?

Like the ladies said tell them it's been a year and you are now worried about fertility issues. The Dr should order a panel of blood work to start that will check your levels of certain things to see if they are fine then go from there. The blood work is done on CD3 so make sure to get into your Dr the week before if you can.

Hi Angela. Simply call the office and tell the you need a follow up appoitment. If they question as to why, you can explain the doctor wanted to see you back once you hit the 1 year mark of TTC. I saw my doctor today and he wants me back in 3 cycles if no BFP in that time frame. Good luck to you & keep the faith. I know how discouraging it can be.

I'm sure they've heard all sorts of things when it comes to that, don't worry!!  I would just call and tell them that you have concerns and would like to see what your options are. But hopefully your BFP is just around the corner!

I'd just call and say that you're concerned about not being able to get pregnant. Tell him/her you'd like to start a workup to try and figure out what the problem may be. At a minimum they should be checking your hormones to make sure nothing is out of whack. Good luck!!!
