Hey so I'm a 14 year old about to go into grade 10 (currently on my summer vacation woot woot) and I really wanna get into birth control. My dad made my older sister get it because he knew she was having sex with her bf and wanted her to be even more protected. I wanna tell him I want to get on birth control too but 1) idk how he'll respond and 2) I feel like he'll take it the wrong way and think I'm getting on it because I'm going to be having sex. That's part of the reason (not like I currently have a guy to sleep with but its good to be prepared right?!) The main reason thought is that I have really bad periods and I hope the birth control will kinda help. PLEASE help idk how to broach this topic with my dad!!!
