are my facts correct? There are 3 rounds of shots and after that you don't need any more?

I got all three rounds I believe when I was 13/14 and haven't needed any more since.

I just had my third dose a few months ago, doctor told me third one is the last. My doctor didn't push it on me, I actually asked her about getting it without her bringing it up. I'm not a person who sleeps with a lot of different people (not judging those who do, though!) but I felt I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'd rather get three shots than end up with cervical cancer.

There are many many strains of HPV and the shot only covers you for 4 of them! Do your research, I've read a few horror stories of bad reactions to the vaccine. I chose against it. You need to decide what's right for you. But yes, 3 shots make up the vaccine.

Do some research on it. You might not need it. Doctors are pushing it on girls that don't actually need it. And it hasn't been around very long so they don't know what the long term effects are

I personally wouldn't get it and glad I didn't let my doctor push me into it. I was in my early 20s when it came out (I'm 30now) and my doctor kept telling me I needed it would send me stuff in the mail too the office would call monthly to schedule an appointment (I don't  see that doctor anymore) she kept saying your not sexually active now but I'm sure you will be and you need to be protected. There was very little research then on it, now there is a bit more. I recently did some of my own and don't think it's worth it. Do the research and decide what is best for you

I wish I didn't get it. But I was younger when it came out and I listened to my mother who said I needed it 😑 I don't think she did any research either. I wasn't having sex with multiple people either so for me I don't think it was necessary
