Financial aid is a bitch
I'm 21 and about to go back to school. My parents make A LOT of money, but they're sending several of us kids to school at the same time, so they can only afford so much.
On top of this, they won't/can't pay for everything (I don't want them to either, I want to be responsible for a portion of my tuition and living expenses), it's just too much money.
But, I can't declare myself independent from my parents until I'm 24, so until then I am not eligible to receive ANY financial aid because my parents make too much money.
WHAT DO I DO? I'm 21 and have only a few thousand dollars to my name. I can work through school, but nowhere near enough to pay for tuition and living expenses.
Has anyone else been in this situation? What other options do I have?
