Can my best friend be my boyfriend but still act like we're bestfriends after I tell him I like him??? .. Because I really like him. How do I tell him?? When do I tell him?? Will it be awkward?? Help?? Anyone???

Im currently going out with someone who, at first disliked me. But, he couldn't escape me because we were in the same friend group. I liked him, but I didn't know he had feelings for me until months later.

So, basically what I'm trying to say here is, don't waste time, and just talk to him.
