When are you telling family?

I'm probably due March 12, and I'm 4w4d, which I know is very early on. My hubby knows, of course😊 I've also had my blood drawn twice and my HCG more than doubled in two days, so that was great news.  I'm really considering telling my immediate family...but is it crazy to tell this soon?

We can't trust our immediate families to keep the news to themselves, so we're waiting until the end of our first trimester. Some days it's hard but part me enjoys having this to ourselves right now...just our little family.

I'm due March 17th and we only told our parents and close friends who noticed I wasn't drinking. We've had 2 miscarriages and are waiting this time to share our news with everyone else. My husband's side has had 10 successful pregnancies with no complications. But it really is your own personally choice. Prayers and good wishes are always a sense of comfort.

You tell your family when your ready! Who cares what is customary! This is an exciting time and I can understand you wanting to share it!

We told my parents this afternoon! We are waiting to tell the rest of the family and his almost 6 year old until at least late August. We are roughly 4.5 weeks as of today.

My family is very nosy and ask me 1,000 questions so I plan on tell my immediate family members mom dad brother sis in law but other then that no one until I'm 20 weeks like I did with my youngest daughter who is now 1 ☺️

I'm 4 weeks today and debating on whether to tell my mom or not. Obviously my husband knows! I'm hesitant because my brother is getting married in August and I don't want to take ANYTHING away from their special day! The bachelorette is this weekend, that's why I'm thinking about telling my mom. I need her to back me up as to why I'm not drinking haha. With our first we told our parents right away. It's the wedding that's holding us back this time. You do whatever feels right! 🙂 congrats btw!!!

So I told my parents right after I took the test. We were staying at their house and I was so giddy. I don't regret it and we aren't planning on telling others until after the first ultrasound or second trimester.
