Elevated prolactin levels and 5hcg

 So, for the past 1.5months my hcg levels will not go down. They once measured 6 then two days later measured to 5. Well, my levels stayed at 5 for two weeks. Then, my OB tested my prolactin levels and they were "elevated." Therefore, she wanted to ensure there were no growths on my pituitary gland so I had a brain MRI done 2 weeks ago. The scan showed no abnormalities. So now my OB seems baffled, so now she referred me to a reproductive endocrinologist. Anybody have a similar situation ?? My OB did mention that I most likely had a chemical pregnancy (which I think I did bc I felt preggo...yet never tested a BFP...I did show a very faint positive 17dpo)...
