Phenergan?

Anyone else have this prescribed and it work the best? My doctor has me in hospital alternating between that and ZoFran

I've been taking Diclegis since about week 7 and it works some. Around week 9, I couldn't keep down anything, including water. My doc prescribed Phenergan and it made a world of difference. I'm 18 weeks now and rarely take it now but it's the only thing that kept me out of the hospital. I was so weak from dehydration that the sleepiness from it was better than the weakness.  I'm so thankful for it. I hope it helps you as much as it helped me!

I've been taking it occasionally for a few weeks. I've noticed that if I'm close to throwing up, it doesn't stop it right away but it does help overall. It makes me extremely groggy and sleep a lot, though.

I actually would not recommend phenergan. I took it for a few weeks and I could barely get outta bed and when I did it was to move to the couch. I felt groggy and drugged and didn't like it at all. I will say that it helped the sickness. But so did reglan. My Dr prescribed me that when I told her I couldn't function on phenergan. It really helped and didn't make me nearly as tired. Zofran did nothing for me and I even tried diclegis which didn't touch the sickness. But that's not to say it doesn't work for others I have talked to ppl who have benefitted from those. :) good luck.

I was on phenergan. I'm not anymore because the nausea has gotten better in the past few weeks (I'm 16 weeks).
It worked great for me. My only complaint is that it makes you VERY sleepy, so it's hard to take it during the day when you need to function.
My doctor wouldn't prescribe zofran.

I have used it since 7 weeks and I'm 15 weeks now. It works good but I've noticed if I'm throwing up it doesn't stop that. But it does stop the nausea. When I'm not pregnant it does completely stop the nausea.
