This is a case of road rage. Smalls gets out of his car, which has his girlfriend and 2 small children in it, and approaches the off duty officer. He then proceeds to beat the officer in the head through the officers window and the officer fired his gun In self defense. Now a couple of questions some may have: why didn't he drive off? We do not know if he was trapped between cars. They were at a red light. Why didn't he get out and fight with his fists? We do not know if he could get out, he could have been pinned inside his car and he hadmultiple wounds to the head. Smalls died and the cop was taken via ambulance to the hospital for multiple head contusions. It does not say what caused the road rage.
