Ever happen to any pregnant mammas?

So... I'm Always regular on my period but this month I am already 4 days late. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it's negative.

We didn't have Intercourse during my supposedly ovulation time.

Is it possible to ovulate super late like 1 week before period and be late on period?

I stopped tracking because I wasn't getting pregnant and didn't want to get my hopes up anymore.

Kind of hard to explain please feel free to ask questions so I can figure out what I should do next. Thanks in advance.
