Called in sick?

Have any of you called in sick to work yet cause of the symptoms your body is changing to? I'm having on n off cramps like period cramps and I'm feeling blah... Makes me want to call off work tmrw.

I have pretty bad nausea and vomitting but my company has very strict attendance policies and calling in sick can affect my bonus and after so many times can get me fired so I applied for FMLA so I can call in sick without getting punished. I haven't called in sick yet but I've told my boss what's going on and he has been very understanding.

I called off this week because the constipation really caught up to me and made it feel like the flu. I kept taking my temperature and luckily no fever but it was almost impossible to stand up for more than a minute. Since then I've been more vigilant about my diet because I've been indulging on my junk food cravings. After having a day of light excercise and a smoothie for dinner I feel so much better

Left early last week, woke up at one feeling nauseous, made it thru the day for 5 hours. Went home took a nap and felt 20 times better after. Yesterday, getting ready for work I almost didn't make it in but took a preggie drop and water to help. I'm trying avoid using sick time for upcoming dr appts and after baby comes.

I have! Only because I caught a horrible cold and since being Prego we can't take many OTC meds. So I stayed home to rest

You do what you have to do for you and your baby. You 2 comes before work. If your gut is telling you to take a time out, listen to it

I've called out 6 times in the last month because I've been so sick and I had to come off all my migraine meds which in turn is causing me to get vertigo. I applied for fmloa but I also sent in a note stating my Edd/lmp and confirmation of pregnancy signed by my doctor so I could get pregnancy leave or PDL ... Don't feel bad due what you feel is right for you and your baby. I told my managers and they understand

Nauseous, dizzy and my head is pounding and I have the heartburn of all heatburns today. Not even peptac is touching it. 😔 feeling miserable but a good miserable xx
