My 3rd pregnancy and my 1st one being considered "high risk"!
I am currently pregnant with my 3rd child and was told they saw a bunch of stuff on my gender ultrasound (2-vessel umbilical cord, left unilateral cleft lip/palate, and a "sagging cerebellum") a few weeks ago and scheduled an appointment with a high risk obstetrician for 2 weeks after that.
When he reviewed my previous ultrasound, had his tech do another in-depth ultrasound, and then did his own ultrasound (he confirmed all that they had seen previously but expanding on the brain and also let me know the baby has an Atrial Septal Defect), he said that the brain malformation looked to be a Dandy Walker but it wasn't typical, because there is no cyst. I haven't found a whole lot of information on it and we aren't sure how bad it is yet or how bad it may become as I am now 25 weeks since Wednesday.
I am hoping for the best, but want to be prepared for the worst and any knowledge I can prepare myself with ahead of time, support, etc. would be a big help.
Thanks for taking the time to read my long and drawn out post.
