Should i bring entertaining to the hospital with me?

37 weeks im packing my hospital bag soon and im trying to decide if I should pack my laptop, books or other things to keep me entertained my husband will have his own bag so he can bring his own items but im just wondering if i will even be using these items if i go to the hospital already in labor

You'll be wanting those gaps in between contractions to try n nap, you won't be able to concentrate on anything else. I have audio books n a couple of games on my mobile so if by some miracle I get bored, they're there n I can let family know how I'm doing. Don't forget your charger! Lol

All I needed was my phone and charger. Of course wifi or 4G
And yes you will need plenty of nap time

Not only that they charge like 10 a day for tv lol .. It's not much but if you're not big on tv I say bring it

I brought my iPad, I didn't use it while I was in labor except to play music. but I did use it a lot after the baby was born to watch Netflix and stuff. Like other people said, not much sleeping going on once baby is born! Enjoy!!

I wished I had brought books or something, because you can only sleep so much, and even after birth- there's a lot of sit around and do nothing time.

I'm being induced tonight. I'm bringing our phones and iPad and magazines for my hubby and I.

Friend of mine was in labor 27 hours, she took movies. I'm not bringing much for myself but I'm also 5 minutes from the hospital and can send someone if i really end up wanting something lol
