When will they induce at the latest?

I'm almost 39 weeks along now. Just wondering if he doesn't come on his own, how soon will they induce me? In general? 42 weeks?

I think the general is 42 weeks max, I think some midwives will let you go 43

My OBGYN told me he doesn't wait any longer thann 42 weeks. I was induced at 41+6 and had her 24 hours later.

He told me if I had gone an hour over 42 weeks he would have given me a c section. Just because of increased risks. But every doctor and hospital is different!
