Any other ladies thinking about school?

Just curious if there are any Mommas out there in college who don't plan on taking a break from school...or am I crazy? Any advice  would help! I served in the Navy and I'm now a full time student and I don't want to skip the spring semester but this is my first baby so I'm not sure how hard it will be I'm due Jan 19 and the semester starts a few days after

I am in school also. Spring semester will be tough and I don't know if I'll be able to go back...maybe for the summer. I am due January 30th. My husband says pray about it but I'm having twins so it may be harder to bounce back after their birth. However the plan is to push through and go back in the spring like nothing happened. Lol

I'm taking some of my electives online in the spring. It'll only be two classes but that's better than none

I graduate my current nursing degree just before baby comes but I am going to continue some certificate courses while at home with baby. I may do a medical admin course as well but I haven't decided.

Back in school again... Working on a one year certification to go with my degree. Finished one class, taking two in the fall, due in January- will likely postpone the spring course.

Yes I'm in school full time and I don't plan on taking a break either especially after serving in the military. I feel like I missed out on so much school wise so no don't feel crazy I am as well

My advice with having children of any age try to take as many class online. I finsihed graduate school last year and I couldn't have done it any other way. Mommies are so busy enough with everything else in life begins able to attend class while the baby sleep or kids sleep makes it so much easier.

I am in school. Also prior service. I was thinking of taking a few weeks off, but nothing major. I also go to university of Phoenix so I only go one night a week, but have a full workload. If I have this kiddo early like I did my son, then we will be on mandatory holiday break anyways.

I am in school as well and its my first baby too... It will probably be hard not to skip the spring semester but it might be worth it.. I rather skip it than to fail my classes because I'm too tired or because I cant go because of the baby

Everyone is different but I personally wouldn't be able to. With my first there's no way I could've done anything that soon. I took 3 months off work after she was born. I was so exhausted all the time I could barely think. Not to mention I would cry at just the thought of leaving her for even an hour. You may very well be able to go back that soon and be just fine though. Maybe you can take just a few classes online or something for that semester? I'm expecting my 4th in January and I still couldn't imagine leaving them during the day that soon, but I know women who've gone back to work 2 weeks later. Just trust your instincts. If you think you can do it I'm sure you can make it work for you. Best of luck!

I'm in college but I attend online. Each class is five weeks long. I'm nervous about meeting due dates once the baby comes but my college offers extended due dates when medical situations occur.
