In-law question
So I think I'm pretty lucky as far as in-laws go. My husbands mom is great. And he's always had issues with his dad growing up, but they're getting better.
At our reception, while we were still eating his mom and my mmk came up and asked when they where getting grandbabies lol. It was adorable.
Well be married 2 years in October. We've been trying for almost a year and now that it's becoming harder, the little comments are hurting. I have an origami owl necklace and a month ago his mom bought me a couple charms. A lady bug, an "N" and a baby carriage. She called it wishful thinking. Then last week she bought a stuffed ladybug for her grandchild. (There's a family story behind the ladybug thing).
She obviously doesn't know we're trying so she doesn't do it intentionally, but it hurts every time. I thought about having my hubby say something to her like "we're trying but it could take a while so please be patient and respect that" but I dunno.
