Outgrowing Infant Seat?

When did you child outgrow their infant seat?

My daughter was/is hugenormous, so we switched to a convertible at 6 months just because she was so stinking heavy. (Even though she hadn't hit the weight limit, my arm had!) She also hated the confinement of it by then. She wanted to get out and sit or explore when we went places.

We switched at six months, he was still was 2 inches below the shell but we already had the convertible car seats. Graco 4ever. We love it. Compact, easy to install and adjust.

Whiched my son at 8 months because he hated being squished and would scream bloody murder if he had to go in it. Got him a convertible seat then. He screamed once his legs got too long around 1 and 1/2. So now that the state changed the law here to under 2 is rear facing I'll be listening to my daughter scream about her legs hurting. She is even longer than her brother.

Lol my son was 4 months. Our seat was 22lbs and my porkchop was massive. We put him in a convertible rear facing. 
My daughter (my first) was in an infant seat until 1 year. She just hit 25lb on her birthday so we moved her to a convertible. I think we rear faced for another 2-3 months before forward facing her

My daughter is 1 and technically she still hasn't outgrown it, it's 30 lbs or 3 inches from the top of the shell, but we switched her to a roomier seat at 1 anyways. Still rear facing of course. ☺️
