When to tell people

I found out this morning im pregnant ive obviously told my partner but dont know when to say anything to people especially work i do a very physical job lots of bending and lifting trouble is work is the biggest gossip factory once i say it to one person its going to be everywhere in the store by the end of the day! Then theres my work friend she has been trying for 18 months with no luck and feel bad happiest moment seeing that positive now im worrying!

I'm the exact same situation. Only the woman who tried for almost 2 years to conceive is my boss and because of my job, I had to tell her first because I had to stop lifting. She's being horrible to me now but how other women treat us is really a reflection of them. Good luck hun. Don't let anyone damper your happiness!!

We are debating on the same topic now. Its hard to find a good day specially around this time...xmas new years my bday and my sisters right after. Did you brainstorm any possible ideas??

I would at least tell your work. It's dangerous. And I told our parents and a few close friend. I miscarried so it was nice to have their support through it.

My SO told me I talked to much when I told certain people that we were PG... And I feel like I jinxed it I lost the baby in Sept.
I might be PG again not sure yet to early to tell I've taken 3 test one was a BFP and the other two were BFN's 
Wait till the first Trimester is over if you can lol it's so exciting or the middle of the Sec. Trimester.

Well ive told close family and ive told my direct manager today as ive been off sick with a stomach bug n sickness obviously now i know what it was so hoping they will be a bit more forgiving i doubt it only 1 female manager in the store n shes only 20! Still its out there now im 4 weeks today just hoping i havent jinxed it by telling to early but my job is in the stock room im up n down stairs all day pulling pushing and lifting so my OH wants me on light duties

I'm 13 weeks tomorrow. I have not told work yet ( desk job) I have an interview ( same government job, different contract ) on Friday so I want to wait until the results- don't want that swaying them good OR bad. Then I will tell asap, because if I get it, the contract will obviously be shorter. Then I interview for a permanent position in January- they will already know then.

Im a care worker , i have to lift and pull and push , i told my work striaghtaway as i did not want to loose my baby , they kept me away from all the lifting jobs and gave me the light weight jobs and know im 20 weeks .. My friend will be happy for me n i want to tell the world but i lnow how ive felt when i was ttc hearing others baby news was like a knife in the gut shd is due her af in 2 weeks maybe she will get lucky this month to!! I feel awful really nauseaus been off work with upset stomach but wondering if its better to say when i go back i found out i was pregnant aswell as i get more rights being pregnant and they may not moan so much about my time off x dont want to be treated like a china doll but i do need to be careful. To had a misscarriage before not for a long time now nearly 10 years but still makes me worry
