My August baby will be a July baby

Yesterday hubby and I learned that I will have to be induced due to my gestational diabetes. I've been controlling it with diet, medication and lots of exercise so we were really surprised. No one had ever said it would be mandatory! This has changed our plans a little but we're just happy that we'll get to see him a little early. Any mommies out there have any positive or not so positive induction stories? I just want to be prepared for all possibilities! Thank you!
