Me and my bf been together two years. How do I hint around to him that I want a ring???

There endless commercials this time of year. Just say something like, "Isn't that sweet, I'm looking forward to that." If you want to be subtle. I just flat asked my boyfriend when he was going to marry me, and he surprised me by saying "sooner than you think". He had already started looking at rings and he had a photographer lined up for the proposal!

2 years is such a short time.  You guys have so much more to learn about each other.  I don't know how old you are but you should just enjoy him as your boyfriend, enjoy each other while you're careless and debt free lol. I was with my husband for 8.5 years before we got married. We didn't move in until after we got married, we recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary. Just think about it and take it slow. When it's meant to be you won't have to hint it.

Are you looking for just a ring? I don't want this to be taken the wrong way but if you just want it to show other people maybe you shouldn't be asking for one... You have to think if you're actually ready for that full commitment and know that this is the ONLY person you ever want to be with.

I actually divorced my husband. We r back together after realizing that we can't be without each other. After seeing how much we missed each other and hurt our children....The stupid things that led us to our divorce don't bother us anymore. I'd like to remarry but I do need a paper to tell me he's my husband. I claim that man in the name of Jesus and his ass ain't ever leaving my side ever! So u claim that man and tell him u want a ring! :-D

I would never ask for it. If he is ready he will do it. My boyfriend gets excited for every jewelry commercial he shows me ads and asks me what I'd like or says "I can picture this ring on you." He has already given me a promise ring of sorts so maybe in time... I'm in no hurry though. I just wouldn't push for a diamond. You should be more worried about the relationship not the ting itself. In reality the ring means nothing compared to the actual relationship.

Haha, I was in a long distance relationship, I told him if he wants me to move in with him I have to have a ring, I.e a promise to marry me before I moved across the country, he proposed on the next visit we took to see each other  :) we were together a year and 7mo
