In trying to use a name from both sides of our families these are a couple of options... The first is Alexandra after my dad whose name is Alex and my mother in law whose middle name is Josephine the second is my mother in law's and my mother's first names.  My hubby and are divided.... I love the first and so do a few other people we have asked (non family)... His mom lothes her middle name so he is using that and he says that it is too long for a little girl.  I tell him we can call her Allie or even Allie Jo.
