Low hormone issues after previous ectopic?

I found out I was pregnant about 4 weeks into the pregnancy, then at 5 weeks I started having abnormal pain on my side. Went to the hospital and they ruled it ectopic. Had an injection of methotrexate in each glute and my period returned back to normal the next month (ectopic was in Feb. 2016).

I was told to wait on ttc for approximately 3 months. Well now my period will be 2 weeks late tomorrow and I have consistently taken tests since the day of my predicted period but every single one has come out negative. Could I be pregnant but just have low hormone levels??

Has anyone had low hormone issues after having an ectopic pregnancy with the injection previously? I'm so confused..
