Accupuncture and TTC question

I have been doing Accupuncture and it has been working at keeping my feet warm (circulation) and lowering stress, which is suppose to improve fertility. I had to change accupuncturists, because the first was not covered by my insurance. The new one uses the electrode things on my legs and tummy and puts the needles in tummy even after O. Is this normal? I like the electric thing, helps me meditate on it and I feel better, more alive in my uterus (I know, sounds silly). I am just wondering what others experience is with Accupuncture and want to compare notes.
