6 year relationship is over and it's been two months. I feel like I'm going to be like this forever

. Circumstances change, but when you're totally focused days are long. Then you look back and think...huh...i made it. Its only been two months girl.  Grief takes longer that. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and start being grateful for little things.

It'll take awhile, especially for a six year relationship. And the way you feel when they start dating someone new is the woooooorst. What helped me, besides lots of journaling and doing stuff I didn't get to do when we were together, is realizing that there didn't have to be anything wrong with me or him for us not to have worked. Sounds kinda dumb and simple, but it kept me from getting sucked into the black hole of, "But why don't you love ME? What's wrong with MEEEEEE?!"
