How did you convince your man into wanting a baby?

What did you say to sway his thoughts?
How long did it take? 
What did you do to show him a baby isn't too bad of an idea?

If a man isn't ready, he's not ready. You cannot convince him or sway his thoughts. It won't turn out well.

When we first got together, I told him I wasn't on birth control. We used condoms for about a week. We did it once without the condom, and he pulled out. We did it again bb, and he came in me. We got married 10 days after getting together lol. Been married 3 years in September & we have a 1 yr old.

I just brought up the subject about what his plan was for family in the future . He told me honestly he had not planned kids in his future so we discussed  what it means to bolts of us if we did . He told me he would think about it and let me know when he was ready , about 4 or 5 months later he decided not to pull out so I asked why he didn't and that's when he said he was ready to try .

Showed him the positive pregnancy test. He really had no choice after that lol he cried though because he was happy. He wanted a baby, just not when it happened

We just waited till we were both ready. One day last october we were watching greys anatomy and i said lets make a baby! And he looked at me and was like no! Lol are you crazy! And i was like oh come on! And he was like no. So i was like ok. And then he was like but we could still have sex and i told him fine lol at the end he didnt pull out! And we just looked at each other and i was so shocked! I was like did you just....ya know and he was like yepp sure did haha thought mid way through why not haha and thats how we started ttc lol

He wanted children from the gecko. And he told me if we ever decide to stop having them and we get a "surprise" that he would still welcome him/her because it was made out of love ❤️☺️

It's not about convincing him, it's a decision you make together, it really is better when you are both ready and want it

You shouldn't sway him. You should wait until he is ready. Bringing it up to see how he's feeling about it and explaining how you're feeling is fine but you shouldn't set out to change his mind!

I told him he needed to stop living for his parents and needing their approval for everything. They are religious and he was so scared of what they would think. Well after that talk he decided we could not try, but also not prevent. Then it turned into actively trying and it took 8 months, but we finally conceived. His parents took it very well and his mom is obsessed because we got the little girl she always wanted lol. I know it can be so super frustrating when you want something your partner isn't ready for! Good luck, I hope he comes around! Just don't do anything you'll regret!

Right after I got off depo, we had sex and he came in me and he forgot I stopped birth control. So I took the Plan B pill and got sick. When he was taking care of me we talked about it and agreed that it wouldnt be the worst thing in the world. So we just said if it happens, it happens and one month when my period was late, I knew right then and there I was pregnant
