Toxic shock?

No fever. 
​Took out tampon 3 hours later but it was soaked (didn't put another in)
​No rash 
​No headaches 
​No muscle aches 
​No sunburn looking rash
​
​Worrying myself sick. Help.

Why do you think you have toxic shock?

When I had toxic shock I woke up in the middle of the night with bad muscle aches. I also couldn't stop shivering even though I was hot. Other symptoms didn't really start until a couple of days later. But you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Mine was from leaving in a tampon that was for a higher absorbency than needed for too long.

Anything up to 8 hours is fine (although I frequently go over this) just make sure your using the lowest absorbency for your flow.

You're fine! :-) I've worn a tampon longer than 3 hours. 3 hours is nothing to worry about! TSS occurance is rare. Just try not to wear a tampon for more than 8 hours.
