When will this end!

Question

This is sort of my second period on nexplanon (i had it put in half way through my last period). I'm now on my 11th day of brown spotting...I know some people have the never ending period, but can I assume that because I ended last time even though it was a bit longer than usual, that I will this time too?

Honestly there's nothing to expect on Nexplanon because you're going to be super irregular for a while. Some women have regular periods right away but most there's no real pattern to what's happening in those first three months to six months. I thought mine would be normal and it certainly was not. I would just keep plenty of tampons and liners on you and be prepared for surprises. 😬
