Mild PCOS "Restart"

Ashley • I`m 34 and a SAHM to our 3 1/2 yr old son. TTC for 15 months and now Baby GIRL is due October 14th!!!!
So I've always had a regular cycle but the last 4 cycles of 2013 were really weird. Spotting for 2 days, 2 heavy period days, 2 days of nothing, then spotting again. It made tracking things very confusing. I saw my OBGYN in January to ask questions (no exam) thinking it could be caused by my hypothyroidism. He said it "sounded" like a mild case of PCOS.  He recommended I take BC for two cycles to "restart" my cycle. I opted to TTC for two more months (we were trying for a baby by the end of 2014). We didn't conceive and I started Yasmin on the first day of my period in March. Today I started my period on CD 25 - early for me. I have another month of BC before we're supposed to start trying on our own again. Then after a cycle, if we don't conceive, we'll start Clomid.
(I should add that it took a year to conceive the first time and then I had a MC at 11 weeks, the next cycle after the MC we conceived our son.)
Has anyone "restarted" your cycle like this before?
Should I continue tracking my bbt and CM? My temp is consistently higher than normal and I feel like I have no CM.  I feel like it's a waste of time.
For a while I was super upset but now I'm just feeling so blah about everything. I wonder if it's the BC. My appetite is different (not hungry), I have zero sex drive, and I just generally am uninterested in everything. On the bright side the BC has made my skin so clear!
Sorry this post is so long. I just hope that someone out there can relate. I loved having a group of buddies to talk to, but many of them have conceived now or are tracking their cycles while I'm just sitting over here being lonely.
