I found out a few weeks ago that i have fibroids in my uterus. I have had pains for a few years now where i cant walk when i am on my period because the pain is so bad i bleed so heavily that i go through tampons every 30 mins. I have the same pains during ovulation and through out the months i have so much pressure it feels like my vagina is coming out. But i went and seen a specialist and as i have my tubes tied already i am scheduled to have total hysterectomy next month. Seeing as i have never been put under for surgery i am kinda freaking out. I didnt let the drs put me under for my tubal but they have to with this surgery so has any one else had a hysterectomy because of fibroids and there side effects?
