How long does it take for the pill to kick in?

I was recently prescribed Lutera and I was just wondering when it would start to become affective as I'm sure it doesn't start that day haha. Is anyone else taking Lutera? If you do, do you like it? Any weird side effects?

Check your pamphlet to see if it takes 8 or 15 pills.

Depends on your brand.
For mine, since I'm a day 1 starter I'm protected from pregnancy immediately.
If a Sunday starter 7 days.
Most will say wait a month or so to be protected from pregnancy.
