Do I need to add formula?

My LO is 13 days old, and feels like she's growing fine! She nurses for about 15-20 minutes and gets a nice full belly! Afterwards I can pump about 8oz (from combined breasts) sometimes more sometimes less. Anyway! The last 2 days she's been cluster feeding a little, sleeping A LOT (even for a newborn I feel) and has been a little fussy. Is there any reason I should suspect something wrong with my milk? Do I need to supplement?

Exact same story here, every few days he cluster feeds, stays awake for about 4-5 hours, super fussy, fights sleep, then the next day he sleeps for hours and seems perfectly content after feedings. I thought the same, just a growth spurt. Sounds like your milk supply is great as well.

I've been told growth spurt also. My baby is about doing the same thing

Growth spurt. Baby is also telling your body to make more milk. It takes up to 2-3 days for it to pass :)

Probably not your milk baby might just be having a growth spurt my son is 10 days old and has been doing the same. He is bottle fed both breast milk and formula I usually will give him an is of formula and that usually does it for him and he's good til the next feeding.

Do I need to add formula?
