Traveling with newborn, help!

I will be flying with my then 7 week old and I'm beyond terrified to do it! My husband is driving with all our things so I'm going to be alone. Any moms have some suggestions to help make the flight easier with a baby? She's normally amazing in the car so I'm hoping the plane has the same effect.
