What I just don't understand
What I just don't understand is how people can think that by saying one thing, it has something to do with the way that they're saying another thing. Like.. What I'm trying to say is.. If you say "I'm not judging anyone that is gay, but why would you be gay? It is a disgusting lifestyle, and no one should be gay in my opinion. Why can't you just be straight?" You started off saying that you're not judging them, but then you went on to say something very judgmental. Or if someone says something like "No offense to people that aren't vegan, but you should be vegan. You're killing animals, you have no heart if you aren't vegan." That's clearly very offensive. You can't just slap something friendly in front of whatever you're about to say and expect people to just accept it and not be upset. And what also really gets to me is when someone will call them out on being rude or judgmental or offensive, and then someone else will be like "they just said no offense, they aren't being offensive" or "they just said they aren't judging you" because these people clearly don't understand why its not okay to do that, and that really worries me. For anyone that does this... Why??
