Acupuncture Labor Induction. Anyone tried it?

My due date is tomorrow and I just left the doctors. I haven't had my cervix checked for dilation so not sure if I am but doctor said baby is in same position she has been in for 3 weeks. Still very low but not engaged. I haven't lost mucous plug so makes me think I haven't dilated much if at all.

My naturopath recommended acupuncture for inducing labor so thought I'd give it a try. Anyone tried this and had success or side effects? I'm booked in for tomorrow. Takes up to 3 treatments within a few days of each other.
