Period after Implanon

Hi everyone! I am Ttc and just had my implanon implant removed on November 20. I have had some mild symptoms that could either just be pms or pregnancy-related, but my periods were super irregular on the  implant so I have no idea when I "should" have started or when I should take a pregnancy test. Anyone else have this issue? Advice? I'm very new to all this- was on the implant for 5 years but the hubby and I want to start our family now. :)
