Baby shower.

My husbands family is two hours away. So we thought we'd have a baby shower for his family & one for mine. That way, both families would attend, & we could spend time with them. Well it's turning out to be one big shit show. Since the beginning. I'm over it & I'm about to just say that screw it, & not do it. I have fought multiple times with my husband, & his mother. I believe that his dad & I are the one sane ones. MIL wanted to have it on the one weekend that I specified that were unvailable because that's when we're celebrating our anniversary.  She is also wanting to have it catered by a Mexican restaurant and serve fucking margaritas. 😡😡😡  I told her no on the alcohol cause it's a fucking baby shower. Then my husband comes home tonight and says I think that we should have the fsecond weekend in October. Which is our anniversary. I told him, I have sat there and fought with your mother about this and you agreed. And now you wanna take her side?? Fine. Then we aren't gonna celebrate our anniversary cause that's when you wanna have the baby shower
