Did I just cost myself a job?

Hello, so literally 5 minutes ago I got a call for an interview at 3:00 tomorrow. But I had to reschedule it because of my boyfriends work schedule (he gets off at 3:30) I don't have a car myself. We scheduled the interview for 4:00 Monday. Did I possibly cost myself the job? This would be my first job. Please help???

No, I rescheduled mine like 3 or 4 times because I had a job I was in but leaving and school and I still got the job. Just do good in the interview!

It's just the interview. Most places understand that things happen when trying to get to the appointments. Other interviews, babysitter issues, school issues.... Ect. They shouldn't hold it against you. If they do, oh well, wouldn't be a good place to work for anyway

If they weren't interested, they wouldn't have let you reschedule. Be polite and appreciative of their allowing you to come in for the interview at an appropriate time for you, but don't say sorry or apologize excessively. It implies wrongdoing that hasn't occurred. Just say "thank you for letting me reschedule" and thank them again for the opportunity before you go. Don't forget to follow up afterwards.

That shouldn't be a big deal. It's not like you couldn't do it for weeks. I would think most places would understand that you need more than a day's notice to schedule something. Just be professional and I'm sure you'll be fine!

I deffinetly don't think so. At the beginning of your interview, you might want to say something like, "I'm so sorry I had to reschedule our meeting!" and a "Sorry again"  sort of thing before you leave. Other than that, I wouldn't worry too much about it :)
