As a Catholic; is sex ok before marriage?

I've been debating for a while. I just don't know if it's ok... I know catholics have premarital sex but is it OK.... I know it won't send me to hell and it's an easy confession... but I don't know if it's worth it...

The Catholic Church teaches against it and yes you're right, you can go to confession for it, but if your plan is to do it, go to confession knowing you're going to do it again, that is not a valid confession. In order for your confession to be valid you have to be sorry for your sins and sincerely try to avoid it again. We all obviously have free will and sometimes we chose to do things anyways. But if you're just going to use confession as a refresher to make you feel better that's not right.

Technically it's a sin. However I consider myself a Catholic and had sex before marriage. Many people will say I'm not a true Catholic. Yeah, yeah, I know. However, so much has changed in the world.

No it's not as a Catholic one of the things you are encouraged to do is to help your partner strive towards heaven by practicing chastity and charity sexual impurity is actually counted amoung the mortal sins you should talk to a priest about it if you have questions and if you haven't you should go through RCIA it will answer all your questions on our beliefs

Although I'm not catholic, (nondenominational Christian) my religion preaches the same thing. I had sex before marriage, and once you start you don't really stop. I often wish I could start over and avoid my first time. My friends with relationships without sex are just as happy, and I'm jealous of their foundation on God.
