Kinda torn, but kinda thankful
When I go on my maturity leave.. My boss has said it's perfectly fine that my man take over my shift. I'll have to start training him within the next couple months.
We really need my income to pay all the bills and support us. Considering I don't get "maturity leave" but of course my boss is giving me 4-6 weeks at home anyways.
I'm a little bothered because my fiancé will have to be working all day and all night. From 7 in the morning til 12 at night. He won't really have time to see our baby boy grow for the first month.
But besides that I'm thankful that he gets to take over my shift (and get my pay) because I know we need the money.
I'm a first time mom and I'm super nervous, and sad that I will be all alone for the first month or so .. ☹️
