Pediatric Dentist Dilemma
My 2 yo has always had a little white spot on one of her front teeth and molars. I make it a point to always brush her teeth at night (she brushes them herself with my help in morning so she can learn how to) and I floss them every night. However, she nursed to sleep till she was about 2 so afraid of rot I took her to the pediatric Dentist her pediatrician referred.
He told me, both times, that the spots were natural tooth discoloration and nothing to be worried about but that if she were to get a cavity that is where it would be. Based on that I paid extra special care to those spots.
Her teeth were perfect this morning and even at lunch (my mom commented on how nice they looked) then when brushing them tonight before bed she has a big ass hole in the front one.
I am absolutely beside myself. She has her biannual appointment with this dentist on the 29 but I was going to call them tomorrow and make them see her. Only, given I have been to him twice and he told me not to worry it makes me want to find someone completely new for tomorrow.
Should I see the usual one and ask wtf or find someone new? If I find someone new how do I know if they are good or not since this one was recommended?
I have horrible trauma from my pediatric Dentist growing up so this is like icing on the cake so to speak.
