Best birth control pill?

I had my 6 week appt today but was undecided on birth control but we decided I'd get on a pill of some sort. Anyone have a recommendation on a bc that helps with painful periods?

Answer

I was on lo Loestrin Fe and Loestrin Fe 24 while I was in college because I had really painful periods. I loved both of these and had no major side effects.

After college I was put on sronyx (different doctor that told me Loestrin wasn't an option.) I had major moodiness to the point someone who didn't know me would have thought I was bipolar. I wasn't myself at all and I hated it!
