Dropping pumps?

So my supply is pretty stable and it is more then enough for my baby right now and in the future. I have 500oz in my freezer. I punp every 2-3 hours 8-9 times a day. When can I start dropping pumps but maintain my supply?

Answer

It depends on how far pp you are. I started at 12 pumps per day and dropped one pump every 2 weeks starting at 12 weeks. I'm staying at 6 per day until I'm finished and pump about 60 oz per day. I didn't experience any loss of milk when dropping pumps, but it's expected to lose a little with each drop.
