Is turmeric safe while pregnant?

I get cysts often (thank you genetics) and I've finally figured out how to help reduce them by using turmeric. However, I'm researching and it looks like it's pretty unsafe to use as it causes menstral flow... What else can I use while I'm pregnant?? I have a marble-sized cyst on my groin and as you can imagine it's annoying and tender. Any suggestions are appreciated thank you!!
