Does anyone like the name "Maximus"?

My husband is in love with the name Maximus and calling him Max. It's a name that sounds strange to me, but the more I think about it the more I think it could grow on me. I dunno, everyone else that has heard it thinks it's weird too.

My sons name is Maximus! It's a strong and uncommon name, a lot of people thought the same thing that it's weird, but if you love the name that is all that matters!

I don’t think it’s too weird but I’m not a fan. I mean people would probably call him Max in the end. I don’t know my sister just named her baby max and I just felt like 🤷🏻‍♀️... it’s a very common dog name so hmm. But whatever. She’s not going to like the name I have chosen either because we have different taste. But I obviously didn’t tell her I disliked the name because that’s just mean to say to your family member. But hey you are asking and the name isn’t permanent yet so hahh here is my opinion lol!
