What's the best type of birth control?

I'll soon be on the Depo shot for a year but after hearing yalls stories, I'm a little terrified to go get the next one in August. Should I just stop it and switch? Really can't afford another kid right now and, hubs and I highly dislike condoms. We've had them break or come off inside me multiple times 😐 Any other options available?

It's definitely good that you want to stop it! If you want something that's less worry like that one there's always the implant and the iud

I've done the shot, nuvaring, condoms, pullout, spermicidal film, today sponge, FAM, the pill. I went on nuvaring (to expensive). I'm back on the same pill I was on prior. 3rd day on it and apart from being emotional (crying) I'm loving it.
