I started my period late this month and when it started it looked like tar and I was passing very old looking clots. I was terrified so I called my OB/GYN. She assured me this was normal and told me this is due to not completely sluffing off all of the endometrial lining from my last period, and that's what was coming out first. I just wanted to share this in case this happens to anyone else! Hope this helps. Keep on being beautiful ladies.
